Donatech Selected as R2-3G Contract Team Member

Donatech attended a kickoff meeting on May 27, 2009 in Arlington, VA hosted by General Dynamics, following the U.S. Army's announcement that General Dynamics was chosen as a Prime Contractor on the Army's Rapid Response - 3rd Generation (R2-3G) contract.  Donatech is teamed with General Dynamics on R2-3G as a HUB Zone small business with expertise in GPS Systems, Platform Level Architecture for Avionics, Software Defined Radios, Military Avionics and Military Avionics Systems, Military COM equipment, LabVIEW, FCS, Technical Project Metrics, Displays and Flight Management Systems.

The General Dynamics team presented their strategy for moving forward and using the R2-3G contract vehicle to support the U.S. Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps, Dept. of Homeland Security and other U.S. Goverment agencies that will be using R2-3G to get faster turn-around time on high-priority task orders.  The total anticipated spend on R2-3G is expected to be in the $16.6 billion range over the 5-year life of the contract.
