Navy Small Business Opportunity Conference
Patrick Adam, VP of Business Development for Donatech Corporation attended the Navy Small Business Opportunity Conference (known as the Gold Coast conference) in San Diego, CA on August 27 - 28.
The San Diego Chapter of NDIA (National Defense Industrial Association) and Navy Co-Hosts NAVSEA Port Hueneme and the Office of Small Business Programs were the conference sponsors this year. Rotating sponsors include NAVSEA, NAVFAC, SPAWAR, NAVSUP, NAVAIR, and the US Marine Corps. The purpose of Gold Coast is to provide a forum to educate, guide, and assist businesses, especially small businesses, in working with the government, primarily the Department of Defense. NDIA and NAVSEA Port Hueneme collaborated to bring interesting and motivating speakers who presented topics of interest with regards to working with the government. Donatech presently has a SeaPort contract vehicle in place and was present to network with over 250 industry and government exhibitors.
