
Established in 1987, Donatech has placed and employed 500+ engineers – primarily in the avionics industry. Effective August of 2003, Donatech became a SBA certified HUBZone company. In 2003, Donatech also signed an exclusive Joint Venture agreement with McGinnis Enterprises – a Service-Disabled Veteran, Veteran Owned Company. Donatech provides engineering and payrolling services to McGinnis. The majority of Donatech's employees are experienced software, systems or hardware engineers directly involved in all phases of the development life-cycle. Our engineers work on projects that follow strict industry-wide standards and specifications, and have received many awards and recognitions.
Donatech serves clients nationwide with managed off-site projects, on-site contract professionals, and full-time permanent employees. We have engineering facilities in Cedar Rapids and Fairfield, Iowa for managed off-site project work. We take pride in maintaining a high rate of client retention and satisfaction.
Mr. Glazier is Chief Executive Officer of Donatech. He has 26 years of experience in software services, engineering management, and applications development in the avionics/aerospace, communications, manufacturing and finance industries. His background includes management positions at General Atomic Company, Oak Industries and General Dynamics.
Since founding Donatech, he has served as program manager for over 20 software development and verification projects, including real-time embedded systems, Windows applications development, Client/Server database programs and integrated PC products.
Mr. Glazier graduated from Purdue University with a BA in Engineering Sciences, and holds an MA in Systems Engineering from University of California at Berkeley.
Mr. Sluser is the President and Chief Operating Officer of Donatech Corporation. Laurie's background includes over 20 years of business operations and marketing experience. He served as Executive Vice President of Corporate Education Resources, an HR software publisher, where he led the company to $6 million in revenues within two years of its inception.
He founded JMB Marketing, a sales and marketing company with 12 offices and 125 sales reps. In addition, he was Executive Vice President of Vollmer & Associates, a prominent national educational consulting and services group.
Mr. Sluser graduated with a BS degree from McGill University in Montreal, Canada.
Mr. Nayak has been Lead Technical Recruiter for Donatech Corporation since 1997. Prior to his association with Donatech, he worked for a large oil corporation in India as a production executive, where he was responsible for modernization and computerization of a range of processes.
His engineering background gives him the technical skills needed to understand complex client requirements, and to establish recruiting systems that ensure "best-fit" placements.
Mr. Nayak graduated from Victoria Jubilee Technical Institute, Bombay, India, one of the top five engineering Institutes in India, and also holds an MBA from MUM in Iowa.
Mr. Adam graduated from the University of Iowa in 1991 with a Bachelor in Business Administration degree. His 15 years of marketing and client development experience primarily involves high end services utilized by businesses.
Since joining Donatech in June of 1998, his areas of responsibility have expanded to include account management of key engineering clients, sales management, participation in generating technical and project management proposals, and acting as the FSO (Facility Security Officer) for the Cedar Rapids, IA engineering office.
Since graduating from Iowa State University, Mr. Edwards has accumulated 15 years of experience in the software industry. He has worked in the fields of custom software, telecommunications, and commercial software before finding his way to avionics, where he has worked the past eight years. His roles have included Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, and Project Management. Mr. Edwards has worked on contracts for Rockwell Collins in both commercial and government avionics. In addition he has worked for MCI, several smaller companies, and three of his own businesses.
His approach to project management lies in streamlining process by using high quality tools, hiring the right people, and motivating them effectively. He is always focused on project risks, and has a record of finding ways to remove or reduce the impact of adverse situations before they arise.
